Tuscaloosa litigation attorney and mediator Steve Ford is a welcome addition to our panel of mediators.
Steve brings to his mediation engagements over 45 years of litigation experience, with an emphasis on workers’ compensation cases, and more than 30 years of mediation experience in a wide variety of civil disputes.
Steve is a co-founder and past chair of the Alabama State Bar Workers’ Compensation Section; a past chair of the Alabama Department of Labor Workers’ Compensation Legal Advisory Committee; a former adjunct professor in workers’ compensation law at the University of Alabama School of Law; and co-author of the Alabama Workers’ Compensation Law and Handbook.
A Best Lawyers® honoree since 1995, Steve earned his bachelor’s and law degrees at the University of Alabama, where he played football under Coach Paul “Bear” Bryant from 1971 to 1974.
