20/20: A Clear Vision for Conflict Resolution in the Next Century

Of course, I (like everyone) had no idea that there would be a pandemic this year. But I did know that the mediation process was changing and implemented a program last October called “20/20.” I sought to underscore the importance of clarity in how we can view conflict resolution differently.

Part of the new 20/20 plan is to have telephonic mediations and virtual ADR solutions. Last fall I sent out a mailing containing the points below and received a great response from lawyers, businesses, and insurance companies.

See below for four simple points pertaining to my 20/20 program, and call me with any questions. Given the current need to work remotely, this is a proven method I have developed and implemented.

  • Telephonic mediations and/or video conferencing performed via short phone calls and text messages throughout the day

  • A streamlined process which saves you valuable time

  • Initial caucuses up to one hour provide a cost effective alternative

  • A proven process already widely used in other countries
